Cologne Sex Guide

Looking for a good time in Germany’s famous Cathedral City?

Cologne is home to around a million Germans with around 3.3 million tourists visiting each year. With its warm climate, rich cultural entertainment scene and plentiful supply of carnivals, it is a popular European tourist spot. And it has more than its fair share of adult entertainment.

In fact, the city has spent the last fifty years trying to organise its sex industry rather than kick it underground. That experiment has produced Europe’s largest high-rise brothel, Germany’s first official drive-in street-sex compound, a cluster of FKK sauna clubs on the industrial fringe, and a private-escort market that has bounced back after hard times through covid. We reveal all in our Cologne sex guide…

Sex and Prostitution In Cologne

Cologne Sex Guide

Prostitution in Germany is fully licensed and regulated.

And Cologne represents a rather large chunk of the market.

Broken down by state, North Rhine-Westphalia – home to Cologne’s – is the biggest registered market in the country, with 8,339 workers on the books at the end of 2025.

Nationwide, only 18% of registered workers hold a German passport (about 5,700 people). The three largest foreign groups are Romanian (11,300 / 35%), Bulgarian (3,500 / 11%) and Spanish (2,900 / 9%). From those captured by the data, most registered sex workers were aged 21-44.

Of course, none of these figures include the gigantic unregistered market – which accounts for much of the sex work activity in Cologne.

After ProstSchG and after Covid, a lot of Cologne’s work moved out of licensed houses and into private flats, hotel incalls and Airbnb.

The city just recently told the Kölner Express that it currently licences 17 brothels and has eight businesses registered as “erotic retail”. The article concludes that the actual figure is much higher once you count the private rooms.

All of this is to say:

The practical takeaway for a visitor is simple:

  • Indoor commercial sex is perfectly legal as long as the venue is licensed and the worker is registered. The statute for handling this is ProstSchG.
  • Condoms are a legal requirement.
  • Street work is legal only outside the city’s Sperrbezirke. Cologne publishes the maps and the rules on its Sperrbezirksverordnung page – our main takeaway is that the trade has been operational in the inner city since 1998, with a widened southern zone since 2011, plus a 06:00–20:00 daytime ban across much of the south. The official outdoor option is the infamous “drive-in compound” in Niehl. More on that below.
  • Working inside a Sperrbezirk is an administrative offence. The city fires off a €250 fine on a first offence for the worker, with a criminal file possible after three breaches. Cologne’s street laws also forbid contacting a sex worker in those zones to arrange paid sex… so the client is liable too, not just the sex worker.

Looking at it fairly, Cologne’s scene is nothing like Hamburg’s Reeperbahn and we wouldn’t compare it to Frankfurt’s Bahnhofsviertel either.

It is something of a Rhineland compromise: one famous pink tower, a handful of Laufhaus buildings around Hansaring / Hornstraße, FKK clubs on the industrial ring, a regulated car-park for street work, and a large, slightly invisible escort layer where most of the trade settles under the radar.

On the registered national numbers above, more than four in five workers are not German. That’s an increase from when we first covered the city back in 2018. A punter in Cologne will still meet a lot of Romanian, Bulgarian, Spanish and other EU girls; but it’s more likely to be Thai and other Asian workers in the smaller houses and massage studios.

Escort Industry

There are thousands of Cologne escorts who provide full service outcalls in the city.

Some specialise in massage, others BDSM. You can pick up an escort from around €150 per hour though there are also some elite agencies and directories that charge for more premium companionship.

Independents and small agencies now cover incalls in private apartments and outcalls to hotels from the Dom to Deutz to the airport belt. A standard GFE is around €150-€250. Quick 30-minute incalls exist from about €80-€120. Elite / “high class: agencies still want a two-hour minimum and will hover in the€400-€800+ range once travel is added.

Where can you find them?

Popular Directories Covering Cologne

  • EuroGirlsEscort – Cologne – one of the most popular European escort boards. Large Cologne roster, mixed quality, useful filters. Had around 470 Cologne-based companions when we last checked it.
  • Orhidi Cologne – the site quotes over 4000 companions in the North Rhine-Westphalia region alone, which surely has to be hyperbole. Either way, it has a ton of escort ads.
  • Ladies.de – a popular classifieds option. Search Köln and you’ll find a mix of independents, house girls advertising outcalls, and the occasional agency dump. Around 270 ads spotted here.
  • Venus Escorts (AVE) – specialist agency with a handful of high-end VIP companions.
  • Kaufmich – Around 100 Cologne-based escorts (both men and women).
  • LEA Escorts – Munich-based high-class shop that covers Cologne on request.
EuroGirlsEscort Cologne
A popular escort source for Cologne punters

Some sites do have extra fees if you are located outside of the central Cologne area.

Extras such as roleplay, fetish, A-levels etc. usually incur additional charges – and some escorts do not provide such services.

Fetish and BDSM outcalls are easier to find via the studio scene (see Other Notable Adult Attractions) than via a generic escort board. Trans escorts work the 7th floor at Pascha and also advertise independently.

Cologne Brothels

Cologne splits commercial indoor sex (incalls) into a bunch of different categories, including:

  • Laufhaus / Eros-Center – the famous walk-in buildings. You pay a small door fee or nothing, wander the corridors, negotiate with whoever is standing in her doorway.
  • Private houses – smaller, appointment-friendly, often a handful of women on a weekly rota.
  • FKK / sauna clubs – pay a day rate, get a towel, a buffet and a swim; sex is extra, negotiated with independent women working the floor. First-timers should read our FKK beginner’s guide.

The city licences 17 brothels (as of Sept 2026). The list below is the ones that we’ve observed to be active recently, plus we’ve highlighted the FKK clubs that function as Cologne’s other brothel system.

Pascha

Hornstraße 2, 50823 Cologne

https://www.pascha.de

Pascha Koln

Europe’s first high-rise brothel, opened in 1972 as an Eros-Center after the city decided the old street scene needed a lid putting on it. If anything, it increased the notoriety of the city’s sex trade.

Pascha is a beast. Twelve storeys, about 9,000 m², still marketing itself as the largest brothel in Europe. The building’s recent history is certainly messy: pandemic closure, sale in 2021, reopening in March 2022 with a hotel on the 9th floor, a tax raid in June 2024, and a later seizure tied to an investigation into the buyers. Through all of that, the doors have stayed open… just about.

As well as a gentleman’s club on the 11th floor (Club 11) a nightclub, shisha lounge, sex shop and hotel, Pascha also has an entire floor of trans hookers (7th floor).

There are around 120 prostitutes working in the building, all operating as independent sex workers.

Here’s the latest we can glean from pricing and menus:

  • Men only in the Laufhaus, 18+.
  • Door fee €5 on the official site, still including soft drinks. Pensioners get in free with a pension card(!).
  • Women work independently and keep what they charge. The house does not publish a service tariff. It’s up to the punter to negotiate with the SW.
  • Recent reported ranges: about €50-€70 for 30 minutes and €100-€150 for an hour. A €50 quickie still happens (several years on from when we first posted those numbers), but allegedly much tougher to find. Fetish / GFE costs more. Punters pay in cash.
  • 7th floor is the trans floor – still unusual for these venues. Reports put 30 minutes there closer to €80-€120.
  • Hotel P9: €199 per night with breakfast on the official hotel page.
  • Laufhaus itself is open 24/7.
  • Nightclub / table dance: Wednesday-Saturday, 21:00–05:00. Friday and Saturday all-you-can-drink is €45 in advance / €55 on the door (official nightclub page). One-person stage-show add-on: €100.

Go on a busy Friday if you want the full circus experience, or a Monday afternoon if you’re looking for something a little more sedate!

Haus 80

Eintrachtstraße 80, 50668 Cologne

http://www.eros-center-bruehl.de/Haus80/

Haus 80 is situated in the north of the city quite close to the Hansaring railway junction. Needless to say, it’s a completely different experience to Pascha.

It isn’t the most modern of brothels (15 rooms in total) and the building definitely needs some attention but there is a good selection of women working here. However, faces change very frequently and there are occasions when punters can get a poor experience.

The house does not publish a service menu we can eyeball. This is still the cheap end of licensed Cologne – short visits are said to fall in the €30–€50 band. Rooms are basic and passable.

It’s a brothel where you very much get what you pay for but this may suit some guys, particularly those on a budget.

  • Monday-Thursday: 12:00-23:30
  • Friday-Saturday: 12:00-00:30
  • Sunday: 12:00-23:30

Eros Center / Das Bordell, Hornstraße 87

Hornstraße 87, 50823 Cologne

https://www.das-bordell-koeln.de

Das Bordell

The other high-rise on the same street as Pascha – the original municipal idea was two towers, not just the one.

Still operating as a walk-in Eros-Center / “Das Bordell Köln” from what we can see. It’s much smaller, and less of a tourist attraction, but with the same corridor-and-doorway mechanic.

It stands out like a giant red thumb.

Useful if Pascha is overflowing and you still want to stay in Neuehrenfeld.

Cat Exclusiv

Frankfurter Str. 210, 51147 Cologne

https://cat-exclusiv.de

Cat Exclusiv

Located 20 minutes outside of the city, Cat Exclusiv has been providing services since 2005.

The building is situated right next door to a Pizzeria and it doesn’t have the most private of entrances – but the building is relatively modern. It’s pretty basic. A doorbell, a small rota, themed rooms that have aged in the way themed rooms always age.

Those rooms are themed with Africa, Rome, Asia and Egypt all being offered up…though somewhat tired looking in places.

This is a private house brothel and not an FKK sauna or nightclub so there is nothing else here to enjoy but the ladies.

Monday-Saturday 11:00-21:00. Sunday is the rest day. They post the week’s rota on the site from Friday. Mostly German-speaking regulars plus rotating “Termin-Girls”.

We couldn’t find a proper price list. It only says service starts at 30 minutes and “there is no upper limit.” So, technically you could live here, but you’d be broke (or red raw) pretty fast.

Heidis Love House

Buchholzstraße 58, 51061 Cologne-Stammheim

https://www.heidis-love-house.de

A popular women-run private house in Stammheim. It accepts both walk-ins and appointments, Monday-Saturday 10:00–20:00. Independent companions set their own prices. A sensible alternative for punters seeking living-room scale rather than a tower block with bright red lights…

Other Brothels and Incalls…

Much less is known about these venues, but we we’ve seen them reference don the various punter forums.

  • Mary Erotik – Schaafenstraße 63, 50676 Cologne
  • Haus 27 – Gereonswall 27, 50668 Cologne
  • Massage Blue – Nordstraße 100, 50733 Cologne
  • Susis Team – Siegburger Str. 509A, 51105 Cologne
  • Sechs-Feen – Godorfer Hauptstraße 133, 50997 Cologne
  • Time-X – Britanniahütte 12, 51469 Bergisch Gladbach (east of the city)
  • Girls-Wohngemeinschaft / Teenyland – last located at Daimlerstrasse 35, 50170 Kerpen. Relocated out of Cologne years ago; confirm before you drive 30 minutes west.
  • Thai Dream – Fritz-Hecker-Straße 110. One-woman, appointment only.

Cologne FKK Clubs

This is the second type of brothel option in Cologne, albeit a much different experience to what you’d find in a typical laufhaus.

FKK Clubs are a uniquely German addition to the European sex scene. FKK stands for ‘Frei Korper Kultur’ which translates as free body culture, or nudist.

FKK Clubs are popular saunas and spas where guests pay an entrance fee of €50 to €150 to enjoy the facilities. These can range for standard treatments such as massage, solarium and sauna through to more erotic spaces like porn cinemas and private rooms. Most FKK clubs allow freelance prostitutes to work in their venues and payment for sexual services is arranged directly with any girl you hook up with.

There are several FKK clubs and sex saunas in and around the city, each having a similar offering but with variations on size, facilities and prices.

They are very popular in Germany as well as Switzerland and Austria but, unlike several years ago, they are no longer a closed culture with visitors being very welcome.

Samya – Kirschbaumweg 26A, 50996 Cologne-Rodenkirchen · samya.de
Probably the most polished choice. 20+ rooms, hamam, buffet, themed party nights. Entry €60, includes robe, towel, slippers, soft drinks and beer. Hours: Mon-Thu 11:00-03:00; Fri-Sat 11:00-05:00; Sun & holidays 13:00-03:00. Get in free if it’s your birthday! (You old dog, you…)

Samya

Club Mondial – Hugo-Junkers-Straße 10, 50739 Cologne · club-mondial.de
Samya’s cheaper sister (same ownership group, formerly Club Mediteran). around 900 m² divided up into 18 service rooms, with a sauna, porn cinema and buffet. Entry €40, food and bar drinks included. Hours: Mon-Thu 11:00-03:00; Fri-Sat 11:00-05:00; Sun & holidays 15:00-03:00.

FKK Amari – Mathias-Brüggen-Straße 10–14, 50827 Cologne
Currently listed as temporarily closed – possibly permanently – we’ve yet to receive confirmation. This is the same shed that used to be Römerbad / Salon Rouge, then relaunched as Amari. Current FKK24 tariff sheet pins entry €40, including towel, robe, slippers, restaurant, soft drinks and tap beer. Hours commonly listed: Mon 16:00-03:00; Tue-Thu 16:00-04:00; Fri-Sat 16:00-06:00; Sun 16:00-02:00. Price of full service allegedly starts at €60-€80 / 30 minutes and climbs fast. Birthday free with ID; discounts advertised for pensioners, taxi drivers and civil servants…. because Germany.

On the doorstep, maybe worth the taxi:

Some other options to consider…

  • FKK Luderland – Porschestraße 9, 51381 Leverkusen
  • FKK Treff Leverkusen – Wiesdorferplatz 45, 51373 Leverkusen
  • Paradiso Club – Industriestraße 10a, 50259 Pulheim (large roster when it is busy)

Babylon / Badehaus Babylon at Friesenstraße 23-25 is still doing the rounds – a city-centre sauna with a mixed / cruising reputation, not as a classic heterosexual FKK like Samya.

A much different crowd, as you’d expect!

Red Light Districts

The main areas of red light activity are:

  • Hornstraße / Neuehrenfeld / Hansaring
  • Eigelstein
  • The drive-in: Geestemünder Straße, Köln-Niehl

Prior to the 1970s, Cologne used to have several red-light areas but the city authorities made an attempt to condense sex work by authorising the building of two high-rise brothels. Situated on Hornstrasse, these two brothels still exist today with Pascha retaining its title as the biggest brothel in Europe (see ‘Brothels’, above).

In 2001, further measures were introduced to discourage street prostitution and the city built a “sex drive-in”, or “Verrichtungsbox”. Consisting of a series of shelters, the facilities were designed for hookers to service clients in their cars. There are wash facilities on site as well as panic buttons and welfare services.

Individual ‘sex boxes’ are screened by tall wooden fences but the area has a gated entry with security cameras. You can find the dive in ‘performance boxes’ on Geestemünder Straße in an industrial area to the north of the city. Hookers charge between $30 and $50 for sex in a punter’s car – and they could can simply drive up and pick a prostitute.

The booths are designed so the driver must park close to the left hand wall so he cannot leave the vehicle. An alarm and safe area is available to the right of the box so that hookers can exit the vehicle and get to a place of safety if they feel the need.

Both the drive-ins and super-brothels have largely been successful and the city has fewer street prostitutes although there are some areas where punters can still pick up in the traditional way.

Nicole Schulze, who worked this street for 14 years and now speaks for the Berufsverband Sexarbeit, told the Express in September 2026 that losing the Geestemünder compound would “shove women back onto unregulated corners”.

Despite much criticism, the city has kept the scheme alive.

Sperrbezirke

Street prostitution is banned in the inner city and across a large slice of the south… maps and the 2011 southern extension are on the city’s Sperrbezirksverordnung page, with PDF detail maps for the Innenstadt and the Süden.

Some southern patches also have a daytime ban (06:00-20:00).

Working the zone is a €250 first-offence fine. So if you want outdoor and legal, Niehl is basically the answer. Everywhere else is either a house, an FKK… or a bad idea.

There is still some unregulated street activity around the station and, at times, in the south. HIV, theft and “her friend in the bushes” are all major risks. We don’t like to give advice on ESS, but here, it’s always the same: stay off the streets!

The Price of Sex in Cologne

Obviously, there’s a ton of variation throughout Cologne – with a tourist premium on certain well-known venues.

Here’s a rough outline of current pricing:

  • Street / drive-in (Niehl boxes): short car session commonly €30-€50. Oral alone is quoted lower; full short-time is normally closer to fifty. National street range is €20-€50. Cologne is not the cheapest strip in Germany – Berlin’s Kurfürstenstraße and Frankfurt’s Bahnhofsviertel still go lower – but it is pretty reasonable.
  • Laufhaus / walk-in house: short time €30-€50, 30 minutes €50-€80, an hour €80-€150 (not always easy to find). Door fees are either nothing… or a few euros. German Laufhaus standard.
  • FKK / sauna club: day rate €40-€60 in this city. Session on top, paid to the woman. Across Germany the old folklore of “€50 for 30 minutes” still holds in many clubs; in the busier Cologne houses recent reports sit higher, often nearer €80-€100 / 30 minutes. All-in for entry plus one session: probably something like €120-€180. Frankfurt and the big Hessian clubs cost more at the door; the session band is similar.
  • Private flat / Modellwohnung: often €80-€150 for 30-60 minutes, booked off a board. This is the market that grew quite recently after room rents in licensed houses hit €150-€180 a day.
  • Independent escort: a standard GFE hour in Cologne is €150-€250. Thirty-minute incalls exist from about €80-€120. Cheaper than Berlin/Munich.
  • Agency / VIP escort: two-hour minimums from about €400-€800 plus travel.
  • Erotic massage: a happy-ending hour typically clocks around €80-€150. Full service (if available – and that is rare) is usually a worse deal than walking into a house. Tantra / nuru studios are higher-end and cost more.
  • Swinger / couples clubs: door prices change depending on the night and event. Couples often €40-€130, single men €70-€100+ and sometimes turned away. YMMV.

Erotic Massage Shops

While the options for sex in Cologne are abundant, you can still find plenty of erotic massage parlours offering a tantric body rub with happy ending.

Most salons only offer a manual service, some will offer more at a juicy premium. To be honest, if you are looking for a full service, there’s no real price advantage to going to a body rub shop in Cologne. Just use an FKK, brothel or escort service instead.

Notable erotic massage venues:

They also have a studio in Dusseldorf, 40 minutes to the north of Cologne – and this is where their old website now redirects to. From what we’ve seen, their opening hours are Mon-Fri 11:00-20:00, Saturday until 18:00, but there is no current public menu available.

Diva’s Dome

Mainzer Str. 21, 50678 Cologne

Other Popular Massage Venues

Also worth a look in Cologne:

Sex Clubs In Cologne

Swinging is hugely popular in Germany and the country has long been known as the spiritual home for anyone involved in the lifestyle.

Though the FKK clubs cater for a lot of swinging (or ‘free love’ activities), there are also plenty of clubs and private parties held throughout the area.

Cologne itself is slightly underserved in the city centre; the better rooms sit 20–50 minutes out.

Most clubs are a short drive away from the city and, though you could arrange a cab, it would be best to arrange to stay nearby or have your own transport as parties often finish quite late.

SDC is a good source for staying on top of the latest Cologne swinging events, as is JOYClub.de.

Chateau Royal

Schmelztalstrasse 50, 53604 Bad Honnef

https://www.chateau-royal.club

Situated about 50km to the south of Cologne, Chateau Royal is positioned in the rural town of Bad Honnef. It is a private setting in the Schmelztal nature reserve with space for up  to 120 couples.

The house has plenty of play spaces and includes a sauna, lounge with fireplace and a cinema. Covering more than 870 m², and there is even a secluded outside space if you want to catch some, uhh… fresh air.

With the exception of the occasional trio evenings, Chateau Royal is a couples only swinging club. Guests range in age from 18 to 60 years old. Bookings must be made in advance.

The club has special events running throughout the year but are usually open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoon and nights.

Der Burgherr (Chains of Liberty)

Nikolaus-Adams-Straße / L 213, 50129 Bergheim – Geretzhoven

Chains of Liberty is a specialist fetish, BDSM and leather club that welcomes non-members as well as singles, couples and TV/TS guests.

Parties take place in a 14th century castle complete with a vaulted cellar (heated), several play areas and well equipped BDSM rooms. The venue is very popular for its ambient setting which also includes a ‘Knight’s Hall’ and ‘Tower Room’ with glass floor.

Party nights are sporadic but are held several times a year; you can find full details via lifestyle networks like SDC and JOYClub.

Lust Refugium

Centrally located in the heart of Cologne, the Lust Refuge is a popular swinging club situated in a beautiful 19th century building.

The club is open for singles as well as couples with the average age of guests being approximately 40 years old. There are seven play spaces available including a BDSM area with up to 70 couples welcome on any given evening.

Admission is via pre-booking only.

We’re not aware of a public website, but latest events can be found on their JOYClub profile.

Other Driveable Options

  • Partyclub Swingertreff 18 – Höninger Weg 18, 50969 Cologne (same building family as Kino Hole)
  • Pan Sauna – Händelstr. 31, 50674 Cologne
  • GMK Bi-Club – Hermülheimerstr. 5, 50321 Brühl
  • Oase – Hardenbergstr. 45, 51373 Leverkusen
  • Villa Illusion / Villa Classico – Dachsstr. 12, 53881 Euskirchen
  • Skryibar – Uellendahler Str. 316, 42109 Wuppertal
  • SF Lounge – Bruchweg 146, 41564 Kaarst
  • Point of SM – Hindenburg Str. 12a, 42857 Remscheid

Düsseldorf is an hour north and has its own well-established lifestyle calendar if you find Cologne is running short on options.

Sex Cinemas

There are less sex cinemas in Cologne than there were a few decades ago and many of those that are left are mainly used by gay men. However, there are a couple that have a reputation for attracting couples, bisexual men and women as well as singles.

Kino Hole

Höninger Weg 18, 50969 Cologne

https://kino-hole.de

Kino Hole

Situated in the south of the city, quite close to the Volksgarten Park, Kino Hole is a popular meeting place for local swingers and curious visitors.

As well as the cinema there are private cabins and glory holes plus an external space. There are shower facilities and lockers on site as well as a bar.

Hours on the current site: Mon-Thu 10:00-24:00; Fri-Sat 10:00-01:00; Sun 12:00-24:00.

The official homepage does not print a door price. Recent reports suggest pricing of around €12 for single men, couples €10, TV/TS €6, single women free.

Hoehe Punkt

Domstraße 89, 50668 Cologne

Hoehe Punkt is a sex shop with two cinema rooms on site; one showing gay material, the other heterosexual. There are also private film cabins.

They mainly stock DVDs but you can also buy toys and other accessories here.

Centrally located, not far from the cathedral, Hoehe Punkt is a popular sex cinema with locals.

Last confirmed shop hours: Mon-Sat 10:00-21:00, Sunday from 14:00.

Other names still on local cinema lists: Erlebnis Kino at Hansaring 23, Erdbeermund on Hohe Straße, Erlebniswelt-Holweide. These are closer to porn-cabin shops than to Kino Hole’s club model.

Cologne Strip Clubs

Cologne is a bit of a blowout for good strip bars.

It used to have Stardust in the Belgian Quarter – but that has now closed.

Any decent alternatives?

Pascha Nightclub

This is probably the closest thing. Same building as the Laufhaus, Wednesday-Saturday 21:00-05:00, table dance and stage shows, party-night drink packages from €45/€55. You can watch women take their clothes off without leaving the pink tower.

You can also walk downstairs and negotiate something rather juicier than a standard lap dance.

Kokett Bar

Altenberger Str. 11, 50668 Cologne

https://www.kokettbar.com

Kokett Bar

The Kokett Bar has been entertaining guests to Cologne since 1958 and has a traditional Art Deco charm. Evening shows are burlesque in style, and there is some decent free table dancing to enjoy.

Be aware that if you are getting a taxi to the Kokett Bar, there are some drivers who will inform you that the club has closed or moved location. This is an ongoing scam with cabbies delivering tourists to overpriced clubs instead.

It’s a popular club that has been featured in many films and TV scenes and, situated right in the heart of the city, gets a lot of visitors.

Local Sex Shops and Adult Stores

The city told Express it has eight businesses under “Einzelhandel und Erotik”.

But technically, the real retail footprint is larger once you count the chains.

Some good options include:

Cosmic Ware

Engelbertstraße 59, 50674 Cologne

https://www.cosmic-ware.de/de

Cosmic Ware

Cosmic Ware is situated in the west of Cologne, a short walk from the Rudolfplatz station. They specialise in fetish and fashion clothing but also stock a wide range of toys and accessories.

The store has a great reputation for selling unusual items at great prices as well as for being friendly, helpful and laid-back.

It’s an interesting boutique style shop where you will find items not available anywhere else including some one-off designs. Certainly, if you see something you like it’s worth picking up there and then as you might not get another chance.

Tue-Fri 12:00-18:30, Saturday morning, Sunday afternoon, Monday closed.

Orion

  • Hansaring 66, 50670 Cologne (two floors, near the brothel belt)
  • Blaubach 6-8, 50676 Cologne

Germany’s chain-store default. Novelty items on the ground floor, the actual toys are further in.

Other Notable Adult Attractions

What else did we uncover in Cologne’s sex scene?

Well, for a start, the city’s fetish rooms definitely deserve a mention!

BDSM Studios

BDSM in Germany is a bit of an artform… and Cologne has a couple of studios where you can appreciate the fetlife.

Das Atelier

Vogelsanger Str. 286, 50825 Cologne

https://das-atelier.de

Das Atelier

Based closer to the centre of Cologne, Das Atelier also offers space for rent. They have been open since 1990 and have a good reputation for quality equipment, discreet bookings and also being able to hook you up with a good (or bad) mistress.

As well as dungeon they also have themed rooms such as a medical room and school. Accessories such as vacuum latex bags, e-stim devices, gallows and torture chair are all available to hire.

They run a clinic in the premises from which they can provide the following services:

  • Needling and injections
  • Breath control therapy
  • Gender transformation
  • Proctological examinations
  • Infusion simulation

Midday-21:00, booking essential.

Bizarre Lounge

Bizarre Lounge

Another BDSM studio but right in the heart of the city, not far from the Eberplatz, the Bizarre Lounge is home to both the Cologne Latex Circle and the Decadence Club. The studio has the added advantage of being houses in a 120 year old vault which adds authenticity to its dungeon setting.

The vault is split into four areas, the bar and reception, the great hall, the clinic and the dormitory. It is a really atmospheric place and they have held a range of events on site including unusual birthdays, eccentric retreats or just special role play sessions.

AUTHOR PROFILE

Simon Regal

Simon is the editor-in-chief at EuroSexScene (and the overlord behind RLN Media). He's the smart-arse who decided it would be a good idea to track an entire continent's worth of adult entertainment—conveniently ignoring the small issue of Europe's 200+ languages and 2000+ conflicting sex work laws. Smart fella, indeed. Simon splits his time between ESS, AdultVisor and the adult conference circuit. His work covering the adult industry has been featured in Vice, Men’s Health, TechCrunch and (redacted) on his mum's fridge.
