Prostitution Laws in Naples
Prostitution itself is legal in Italy although profiteering from a sex-worker is not. Effectively this means you can legally pay for sex with a freelance prostitute but brothels and pimps are forbidden.
Freelance escorting and independent street prostitution is therefore the main way to pick up a hooker in Naples and there are an estimated 2000 hookers working in the city. Around a third of these are thought to be from outside of the EU, coming from places like Africa, Asia and South America. The remainder are European, mostly Italian but also from Eastern Europe and neighbouring countries like Greece, Spain and Portugal.
As prostitution is legal, many of these hookers have a legitimate work permit and some work in legitimate businesses like massage parlours of strip clubs. Though, strictly speaking, sex is not permitted on sale in these venues, it does take place.

Formerly known as Club Lido, Club 21 is a small lap dancing and striptease joint in Naples. It isn’t the most upmarket of venues but it is clean.
Entrance is €20 which gets you a free drink; but a dancer a drink and they will perform for you but not for long. Private dances come at around €100 and, though there is the chance of getting a little something extra, the prices generally are quite steep.
Club 21 is open from Monday to Saturday between 10.30pm to 4.00am.
Rose My Club

A similar size to Club 21, Rose also has a reputation for being quite expensive. Entrance fees are €20 with one free drink but you will need a fat wallet to stay for very long here.
Like Club 21, there is a possibility of arranging a ‘takeaway’ escort service from Rose’s and you get the feeling that the striptease/lap dance element is merely a cover for what could just be a window shopping experience. Expect to pay €100 to €250 for such a service.
The club is open from Monday to Saturday from 10.00pm to 4.00am.
Street Prostitution and Red-Light District
