Prostitution Laws in Helsinki
Prostitution is legal in Finland though many activities associated with it are not including pimping, soliciting in public and running a brothel.

There are no legal brothels in Helsinki. Locals prefer to visit massage parlours (see Erotic Massage Parlours, below) for general relief or arrange private (“privaatti”) shows with sex performers (see Strip Clubs, below).
Helsinki does experience the temporary sex worker one-woman, AirBnB phenomenon. This occurs when a sex worker rents an apartment for a couple of weeks and runs a pop-up brothel. These are usually shut down very quickly so it isn’t possible to provide details. However, be aware that some escorts (particularly those engaged through the free classifieds) often run these set-ups.

Wild Club is a private, members only swingers club; however, Wild Club does operate a guest policy with inquiries being entertained in advance for their events.

Helsinki Erotic Massage Parlors
Helsinki is serviced by a lot of massage parlors, many being Thai. Most will provide happy endings as part and parcel of the service with the cost being added to the initial charge paid at the front desk. It is likely that paying for a 30-minute massage, ten minutes will be spent giving you an inadequate but tantalizing body rub before being asked if you would like ‘extras’. You can expect to pay anywhere from €20-€100 depending on what is being offered and who is offering it. Payment for extras is considered a tip and should be made in cash directly to your masseuse.
Most massage parlours in Kallio (the red-light district) will offer extras so you don’t need to get too detailed with the reception staff if you are booking into one of these venues.
Though there are more than fifty body rub centers in Helsinki, it is not known how many of these will provide additional services.
You can also pay extra for a less (instantly) fulfilling, but more expertly delivered, Tantric massage. A body to body experience, the effects can be very overwhelming and more than make up for the lack of a full service at the end. However, some masseurs do provide manual relief to clients but it isn’t guaranteed. Expect to pay around €100-€150 for a session of Tantric massage.

Helsinki Strip Clubs
Strip clubs in Helsinki are of two types; one is the the type that most European travelers would recognize as a gentleman’s club whilst the second is a private, one-woman show similar to those you might find in a sex shop or cabin in a sex cinema.
Kallio is a popular area for these private shows and you can find most located in Vaasankatu. Head for the red light district and look out for the magic words ‘private show’ or ‘privatshowpaikka’ and you won’t be disappointed.
Popular private show venues include The Queen’s Show, the oldest such venue in the city and Magic Life on Aleksis Kivenkatu.
Crystal Show Club
Lönnrotinkatu 19, Helsinki
One of the most popular traditional strip clubs in Helsinki, the Crystal Show Club is a gentleman’s club style strip joint over two floors.

The club is open daily from 8pm to 4am.
Street Prostitutes
Picking up prostitutes is illegal and we highly recommend you stay off the streets.
The red light district of Kallio is the hot spot of street prostitution in Helsinki, and though they aren’t as plentiful as in other European capitals they are quite cheap for Scandinavia. It’s reported that a quickie will set customers back just €50 whilst it’s possible to get a blow job for around €20.
The prostitutes do move around quite a bit to avoid being picked up by local law enforcement but they tend to migrate to the areas around the massage parlours and strip clubs.
Street prostitutes tend to come from Eastern Europe including the Czech Republic and other Slavic countries as well as North Africa.

Another sex shop which combines a sex cinema with private viewing cabins, there is plenty going on at this centrally located sex shop.
The product range is good to browse (sex dolls, fetish goods and pharmacy items) and should cover most bases but it is the lure of cruising which has locals coming back for more as well as proving an unlikely tourist hot spot.
To access the cinema area you will need to pay an entry fee of €15 and then the range of entertainment is limited to either the 30 titles on offer in the private screens or your own imagination.
