In this review, we’ll give you a little more information about one of Vienna’s most popular adult entertainment venues, the Exzess Gentleman’s Club.
The Exzess Gentleman’s Club, Vienna
Unlike in other parts of Europe, Austrian cities don’t have red light districts where all the adult venues are condensed in one area. Instead, here in Vienna, you can find strip clubs and brothels, massage studios and contact bars all over the city.
Exzess is a popular gentleman’s club in the north of Austria’s capital city, Vienna and has been entertaining guests for over 25 years. It’s a family run venue and is well regarded by locals as well as being a ‘must-do’ club for visitors to Vienna.
Exzess offers a more traditional approach to the art of strip and incorporates the classics of a whiskey and cigar bar with comfortable lounge surroundings and an eclectic soundtrack. As well as live music performances, guests can also bring along their own CDs or flash drives to introduce new artists and tracks.
Situated in an underground location, guests descend into the club and straight into the main lounge bar. This is an intimate space and has plenty of cosy nooks with armchair and couch seating and is decorated in velour and leather with subdued lighting. It’s a space the girls can work well and whilst small podiums and poles provide areas for erotic dancing, they will move around the bar to keep guests occupied; from lap dances to table dances and stage shows as well a providing companionship.
In addition to the lounge, there are several private and themed rooms where visitors can enjoy the private attentions of a dancer. This could be a full striptease show or a sexual encounter. Depending on what you desire, you can opt for a room to suit your mood; there’s even a BDSM chamber complete with St Andrew’s Cross and gynae chair.
Exzess Vienna run regular themed evenings and parties so do check the website as some events will be ticket only. There’s usually one a month and these centre on themes like Halloween, New Year’s Eve and Okotoberfest but can be more random like Feast of the Fish and Friends, Nurse Night or Hell Party.
However, they are also well known for catering to stag parties and groups with several special offers available, including:
- Starter Package (€220) – 1 litre bottle of spirits with mixers and snacks, strip show on stage with show participation for the man of the hour who also gets a free Piccolo and a private session with one of the girls.
- Silver Package (€320) – 1 litre bottle of spirits with mixers, bottle of wine and snacks, strip show on stage with show participation for the man of the hour who also gets a free Piccolo and a ‘warm-up’ session with all of the club girls.
- Gold Package (€550) – Welcome shots for the whole party, 1 litre bottle of spirits with mixers and snacks, bottle of Moet & Chandon, strip show on stage with show participation for the man of the hour who also gets a free Piccolo and a ‘warm-up’ session with all of the club girls plus a private strip show.
- The Exzess Party Packagae (€730) – All of the above plus free soft drinks, draft beer and wine and a stretch limousine for one hour.
The club also has small FKK facilities on site that guests can enjoy separately to the strip bar and includes showers and a sauna room.
The Girls at Exzess Vienna
The club don’t publish any details of the girls who perform or offer services at the club but recent reviews suggest that there is a good selection of women who work here. Ranging in age from early-20s through to mid-30s, ‘guest services’ are known to be provided by experienced and enchanting ladies. Certainly, Exzess dancers and sauna girls are not regarded as being pushy or ‘trashy’ and are hired on the basis of their looks, talents and demeanour. These are girls you can enjoy the company of in public and in private.
Exzess Vienna: Prices
Entrance to the club is free but the use of the sauna facilities will cost you €32. Of course, any services you partake in with one of the ladies on site comes at an extra charge and this is negotiated directly with the women themselves.
Reviews suggest that the prices charged for personal services are in the mid-range for Vienna so expect to pay around €150-€200 for an hour.
As far as drinks prices goes, these are in keeping with any strip club in a major European city and are on the high side. Like many clubs, Exzess works on a Champagne System so the girls are primed to order expensive drinks so just be aware that, even if you aren’t paying for a private dance, their attentions don’t come free.

The Excess Gentlemen’s Club is open Monday to Saturday from 9.00pm to 5.00am.
Please note that the venue is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Exzess Vienna: Dress Code
The club doesn’t have a strict dress code and is far more casual than you would expect from a strip club in a capital city. However, the security staff won’t admit guests who aren’t smartly attired but this can include jeans.
Where To Find Exzess Vienna
The Exzess Gentleman’s club can be found in the north of the city at Heiligenstädter Str. 6, 1090 Vienna.
The club is a short walk from the U-Bahn station, Nußdorfer Straße but is also well served by trams and buses which virtually drop you outside the venue.
If you do end up getting a taxi to the club then keep your receipt as the management team will reimburse you €10 to use in the bar when you arrive.
