Antwerp has quite a large entertainment district for its small population including nightclubs, bars and restaurants. In addition, the city also knows how to keep those adults looking for a little something saucy, well occupied.

Prostitution in Antwerp
Prostitution in Antwerp is legal though the running of brothels is not.
However, there are still brothels operating in the city that get away with the legal technicalities by hiring rooms for the use of independent escorts to entertain their clients.
You can legally engage the services of an independent escort by using one of the many directory sites or using an agency direct. Fees vary by girl and agency but customers can expect to pay in the region of €150-€200 per hour.
There are also street prostitutes working in the city’s red-light area where customers can pick up a service for as little as €50 (see Street Prostitutes below).
The red-light area is small compared to other European cities but has quite a lot to take in in such a small space; window prostitutes, colourful and graphic graffiti as well as plenty of punters.

Admission rates vary depending on the event but are between €25-€80 per couple and up to €25 for single ladies. Men are not always allowed but can expect to pay between €50 and €125.
Villa 21

Situated about 45 minutes to the east of Antwerp is Villa 21, a swinger’s club that regularly welcomes single men and women as well as couples.

Abilux is a very small strip club in Antwerp but one which attracts a loyal client base.
Private dances are available at a cost of €50 (topless) or €100 (fully nude). They last ten minutes but you might be happier simply licking some whipped cream from the breasts of one of the dancers (minimum tip of €10 required).
The club is open Monday to Saturday from 11.00pm with entrance fees being charged at €10 (women are free).
Myoo
Oudemansstraat 20, 2000 Antwerp
A gentleman’s club located in the heart of the city, Myoo is a popular club for tourists looking for a friendly welcome.
There is a resident DJ that keeps the tempo upbeat and the girls seem to enjoy working with the live music. It’s not the biggest club in the world but it does mean that all seats have a good view of the stage and the performers have a good reputation for interacting well with customers.
Entrance to Myoo is free and the club is open as follows:

Dorsia Club

A more upmarket kind of strip club, Dorsia is larger than the other two we’ve mentioned and is popular with business visitors to the city.
Decorated in red leather and gilded gold mirrors, the VIP area includes a throne and the look they are going for is clearly one of majesty and opulence. Whilst this might not be as effective as the simple but modern clubs of Denmark or Spain, the Dorsia club does have a good atmosphere.
A single lap dance will cost you €35 or you could get a half hour with a bottle of champagne for €250. Cash is forbidden as tips and you must purchase coupons at the bar.
The club is open from 9pm Tuesday to Friday and from 11pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Street Prostitutes
As a port city, a red-light area has existed in Antwerp (whether officially or unofficially) going back centuries. These days, the officially controlled red light quarter consists of the three streets of Vingerlingstraat, Schippersstraat and Verversrui. Situated right beside the docks, the atmosphere here is friendly and is considered quite safe.
Once referred to as the Sailors Quarter’s, the area has quite a few women who offer sex and there are a couple of premises where rooms can be rented by the hour.

An erotic boutique selling mainly sex aids and standard bedroom toys, Tutti Passi is a small sex shop in the city.

Opened in 2008, Lextase has a couple of other stores in Belgium and stocks a good range at the Merksem store.
The main staples are in toys, novelty items and lingerie. You can find a good range of BDSM wear though it is mainstream rather than specialist. However, you can find a stock of S&M items from Dutch manufacturer, Rimba as well as luxury toys from French designers, Dorcel.
The store is open Monday to Saturday from midday to 7.30pm.
Pabo
Boomsesteenweg 48, 2630 Aartselaar
Pabo is one of the largest sex toy outlets in Antwerp and stocks a wide range of lingerie, costumes, bedroom aids and toys. They also sell a selection of home interior products such as bed linen and gadgets.
The Pabo store is open Monday to Saturday from 10.00am to 8.00pm.
